We adopted a potcake about three months ago and though we've had puppies before, we wanted more formal training for jumping, reactivity, and so we asked Fenella to design a plan just for us. We've been working with Fenella for about six weeks now both inside our condo and in the park, and his behaviour has really improved. He's starting to know what's expected of him - and for us, too! I highly recommend Fenella!

This is my first time hiring a dog trainer. I believe my dog's behaviour has improved, and he has learned many new behaviours. Fenella's patience with both of us was helpful in the training. Where do we even start with how amazing Fenella has been for our foster dog? Honestly, she’s like a superhero! At first, we were totally lost about how to train our dog, but Fenella came in and helped us figure it out. She really understands dogs and knows how to speak their language. (We’re pretty sure she’s got a secret dog dictionary.)

Thanks to Fenella, we can now take walks without our dog trying to pull us down the street like a sled dog team. She helped us set up a routine where play is fun but also has a purpose. The training sessions were structured with lots of breaks, which kept our dog focused without stressing him out.

We’ve also learned the secret to success: patience, practice, and consistency. Fenella reminded us that dogs, like us, have good days and bad days, and it’s important to stay patient and kind while they learn. We’re already seeing great progress and are so thankful for Fenella’s help!

My dogs sit at the door, waiting for Fenella to come and work with them. She has a gentle quiet way that they love! She challenges and stimulates them, teaching them all sorts of new Activities. Her knowledge of dogs and all their different personalities is quite amazing.

Fenella is amazing with our foster dog Rosie! She’s very knowledgeable about dog breads and behaviour and showed me ways to exhaust our 1 year old boarder collie. She’s extremely reliable and easy to communicate with. Definitely recommend her for dog training!

Our three-year-old silver lab Blueberry can be a handful. She's a good dog but has developed a few bad habits. Before friends recommended we meet with Fenella we were resigned that casual days at the lake or a patio drink with friends would not be possible to enjoy with Blue. Fortunately, Fen brings great patience, optimism, and curiosity about how each dog ticks and ways to adjust their behaviour positively. We've found ourselves looking forward to our sessions and believe we've gotten to understand our dog more deeply. Blue is still a work in progress but now believe that a chilled summer afternoon at the beach as a family is possible.
